The election of Miss Afrik@berdeen 2007 is the first event of a long coming series of diverse cultural events. This event will take the form of a dinner dance, where the guests will be entertained by different activities and performances including the election of the Miss of their choice.  

Various associations, societies and groups (including non Africans) will share their work and talent during the evening. Creativity, learning and entertainment will all blend together throughout the evening, as follows:

•  A buffet gathering a delightful selection of African dishes from Northern to Southern Africa. People will be invited to taste the finesse of the African gastronomy. A booklet of recipes will also be available to take away.

• A quiz game involving the public and bringing questions on African culture, economy, history, geography, politics, art, sport. Each good answer will be awarded by a small prize.
• A colourful ethnic catwalk show exhibiting a mixture of African fashion including traditional outfits.
• An open African Dance competition with different styles and demonstrations
• The election of Miss Afrik@berdeen, where a jury of 5 persons along with the public will decide on their ambassador of African astuteness and beauty in Aberdeen.
• Various performances including Belly dancing, African Christian Choir, Scottish traditional dance … Plus much more
